Hydraulic boost bracket for outboard motors
This is an outboard motor bracket operated by a hydraulic system to help boost raise the outboard.
It has a cylinder filled with compressed gas and oil, which stocks pressure wile the outboard goes down, and releases it when goes up.
You can also adjust the inclination of the motor when the boat stern is not perpendicular to the water, with the correction squads up to 20 degrees.
This bracket was designed for light motors; it can bear motors to 15hp. or 45Kgr.
It is equipped with a double action lock that locks the bracket when it's up or down, this prevents the motor from going up improperly when going reverse.
In the squads that attach the bracket to the boat, are 3 sets of holes to adjust the vertical position in 50 millimeters in steps of 25 millimeters.
Every friction or contact between the pieces is isolated with 6,6 nylon bushings with fiberglass charges that prevents the wear and the galvanic / electroplatic corrosion in the vital parts.

line, that, if the craft is on the water should be with no people on board and with weights evenly distributed. Them mark on the stern or on the wooden wedge the central hole for each set of 3 holes (The inferior and superior hole of each set are used to correct the height once is fitted, if necessary. Make a hole with a 10.5-millimeter (7/16 inches) which to place 3/8" bolts. The recommended height is worth for short legs, long legs and extra leg motors.
-
Check the motor to be perpendicular to the water line (see picture) if the stern of the craft is not perpendicular to water, you must to adjust the perpendicularity of the motor with the correction squads "E".
-
We recommend strengthening the interior of the stern with a hard wood board.
-
We advise you to fasten the outboard motor to the craft with a steel wire, or chain (this is an insurance requirement)
